The DROACOR® correction approach is well suited for reflectance retrievals of environments which are not accessible easily on the ground such as water bodies or dense forests.
Varying illumination conditions
UAV data acquisitions are often conducted over longer periods of the day. Our physical approach improves the analysis of the series of day-time images since ground brightness variations caused by varying illumination conditions can be compensated.
DROACOR® can be applied for analysis of coastal environments and lakes. A sample of application to the coast water depth analysis is shown below.
