
We are delighted to announce today that a major update for Droacor to new Version 2.1 has been released. It includes both major new features and important updates and fixes.
New features:
– Full support for latest instruments from NEO (Hyspex/Mjolnir), Specim (AISA FX), HAIP (Blackbird), Headwall (Nano, including dual systems.
– Support for Vexcel Ultracam Eagle and Osprey multispectral photogrammetric camera.
– Spectral polishing with full consideration of detector split wavelengths.
– Empirical brightness adjustment between VNIR and SWIR detector for dual detector instruments (detector ‘jump’ correction).
– Support for Tripod based horizontal view apparent reflectance calculation for AISA Fenix and Hyspex Mjolnir Instruments.
– Option to process fixed selection of spectral bands.
Updates and fixes:
– More consistent aerosol detection.
– Improved SWIR-only reflectance retrieval.
– Fixes to TIFF data I/O.
– Update for frame camera (multispectral) BRDF correction.
– Improved floating licensing system.
The new software version is free for users with a valid software maintenance contract. End users with an active maintenance contract by April 30th, 2025 are entitled to a free upgrade to this version. Please contact us to receive update instructions. A new license file will be issued only upon request. In case you do not have an active DROACOR maintenance contract, you may apply for a free evaluation license.
